Giftamoure

A mandap platter for the Guruji, wrapped in raw silk and sealed with a wax stamp carrying the family initial. Return favours for two hundred and forty guests, each one hand-packed the evening before the reception. Room hampers for thirty out-of-town families, waiting on their beds when they arrived. Three commissions, one wedding, one atelier. This is how we work on the occasions that matter most.

Five moments. Five commissions.

01

Invitations

The first thing a guest touches. Sets the register for everything that follows.

02

Return Favours

The last thing a guest carries home. The one they keep.

03

Room Hampers

For the families who travelled. Found waiting, before the first ceremony begins.

04

Ceremony Platters

For the Guruji, the elders, the rituals that open and close each day.

05

Theme Hampers

Haldi, Mehndi, Sangeet. Each ceremony with its own gifting logic, its own materials.

A recent commission.

A five-day wedding celebration. Udaipur, Winter.

Beat 1 — The Invitation

Hand-pressed ivory card, fabric-bound in raw dupatta silk, sealed with the family initial in ivory wax. Dispatched six weeks before the first ceremony.

Beat 2 — The Haldi Hampers

Forty sets. Turmeric soap, raw honey, pressed-flower card, cotton drawstring pouch. Packed the evening before, delivered to the venue by morning.

Beat 3 — The Return Favours

Two hundred and twenty guests. Dry fruit in hand-stitched muslin, brass diya, family-monogrammed card. Each favour identical in quality. Each one feeling made for that guest specifically.

Beat 4 — The Guruji's Platter

One commission within the commission. Raw silk base, ceremonial dry fruits, a small brass token. Presented before the first ritual began.

How We Work

Beat 1 — The Planning

Every occasion begins on WhatsApp or in person. We ask about the family, the day, the people receiving.

Beat 2 — The Sample

Before anything is produced in number, you receive a physical sample. Held, photographed, shown to whoever else in the family needs to weigh in.

Beat 3 — The Delivery

Every commission leaves the atelier complete and arrives at the door it was made for. We work in considered quantities, never rushed, never off a shelf.

Begin a conversation with the atelier.

Tell us about the wedding. We reply on WhatsApp within one working day.
